“I Shall Weep No More for the Lost in their Water Graves”
Patchwork wall-hanging
Representing the golden pyramids of Atlantis sinking beneath the waves, this wall-hanging was an experiment to try out bargello piecing, and to see how quickly I could make a quilt. (Answer: not as quickly as I’d hoped.) Commercial fabrics including batiks. Machine quilted on my domestic sewing machine with a vermicelli seaweed design.
