“Fiona’s Flowers”

Patchwork quilt

I was asked by renowned quilt teacher – and friend – Barbara Chainey to be one of the testers for her new book Fast Quilts from Fat Quarters. The premise was to use a specific cutting plan for fat quarters and then to design a quilt from the pieces. I took inspiration from a bunch of spring flowers, and this random design was the result. I hand-dyed and/or painted all the fabrics (bar one) myself.
