Sorry, just moved in, so you’ll have to watch out for the boxes everywhere. I’ve only just started unpacking, and as for decorating… well, you know how it is when you’ve just moved in – still working out where to put the furniture and what to hang on which walls. I’ll get there eventually.
Meanwhile, I’m sure I can rustle up a mug and some teabags, and being English, I’ve made sure the kettle was packed on top, so at least we can have a cuppa while we chat.

Don’t know when I’ve visited such an interesting website. Love your work and love your wit. Love especially your reference to your socialized medicine and telly. We are having such a pack of lies thrown at us here in the USA. Three of my grandparents were born in the UK and I have always been an Anglophile. Would love to spend long periods of time there but am afraid I’ll not get the chance at my advanced age. I’m looking forward to reading more of your blog.
